It's all online matchmaking and friends lists nowadays that's turned multiplayer gaming into a thing of isolation, not socialisation. But Activision's remake of N64 classic GoldenEye 007 hopes to take multiplayer gaming "back to its roots".
Here's a trailer showing off the four-player madness planned for the remake, which is bound to incite fits of nostalgic joy in older Nintendo fans (like me). But can it stand up against the likes of Halo and Modern Warfare as a core experience? Additionally, does it even need to?
Okay, just out of interest, which would you rather have; this Wii remake or the (cancelled) Xbox Live Arcade HD port?
